Alizee Jacotey, the well known French singer was born on 21st August 1984 in Ajaccio Corsica. She started off her career as a professional dancer. She got herself trained in Corsica’s popular dance school named Ecole du Spectacle de Monique Mufraggi. She was a proficient dancer and was an expert in tap, ballet, jazz, flamenco and other forms of dancing.
Slowly she diverted herself to singing as she gave her winning performance in the TV talent show named Graines de Star. Mylene Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat were very pleased with her performance in the show and they got the right voice they were in search for. A young fresh voice was seen in her. She made her debut album named “Gourmandises” which was given a big response in France and abroad.
In her was seen the vigor of the perfect young voice. She became popular abroad and her singing was awarded the most selling female one. The album received the “Platinum” in just three months after its release. This marked her journey to fame. She was also into a Japanese commercial. Her song “Moi Lolita” won everyone’s hearts.
She was married in 2003 and left her appearance in the media thereafter. She hailed from a good family; her father being a computer scientist and her mother being a business woman. Although she was a very shy type of person but it was not reflected in her shows and videos.
